Seniors Chris Oney and Colton McCoy proudly represented Fredonia at the Kansas State Fair, competing in the Unified Partners Grand Champion Show. While they didn’t bring home a ribbon, both were awarded medals and—most importantly—created memories that will last a lifetime.
This annual event, sponsored by Kansas 4-H, Special Olympics, and the State Fair, celebrates teamwork, inclusion, and community. Their Unified Partners, Brook Derby and Maddison Goodman, were right there in the stands, cheering them on every step of the way!
A true reminder that it’s not just about awards, but about experiences and friendships.
