
Our 7-12 Theater students enjoyed ICC and Rural Outreach Educations production of Romeo and Juliet! Through the Kansas Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts, this group is able to share Shakespeare in schools. Our students were able to ask questions to the directors and actors after the show.

First Grade Fun on Friday! Students and staff are working on fun ways to GROW their math skills!




All USD 484 schools are in our Secure mode. Due to widespread online threats our local police and SRO are actively investigating.
All students will be remain in the main buildings and all exterior building and the HIVE will be closed.
Students and staff will remain their classroom and continue learning.

Today the students in Plant and Soil Science with Ms. Blaes dissected flowers while reviewing the parts of a flower. Thank you to Dani Bracken at The Rail Yard for the donation of flowers!









1st graders in Mrs. Barnett's class listened to a story about Patriot Day and the many heroes and victims of 9/11.



At our monthly Board of Education meeting, our two National Champion FCCLA STAR events presented their projects.
Last summer, 32 students went to Seattle to participate at the national convention with over 9000 others from around the nation!

JH Cheer enjoyed learning cheers and stunt safety from UCA staff at the KSHSAA Spirit Spreader! They are very excited to show their skills, so don't miss Thursday night's football game!


It's PAYDAY in 4th grade! Mrs. Madden hands out Madden Money for classroom jobs. Each student is assigned a job with a specific salary. They also earn bucks throughout the week! Today their desk rent is also due. What a great way to teach economics!


Students work on creating a historical background timeline before jumping into the world of American and British Literature.
