Caney has informed us of repair work to the bridge just north of town on HWY 75. There is a traffic light in place, and delays of up to 25 minutes have been experienced. If you are attending tonight's contest, we encourage you to plan for a possible extended delay or use an alternate route into Caney.

On Monday, 1st year FFA members attended Greenhand Conference in Girard. Members took an FFA information test and then learned about opportunities in FFA and Agriculture. JP Batzer and Elliot Cannon represented the chapter in the Creed Speaking Contest. JP Batzer was also selected to represent our chapter in the FFA Spelldown. He competed against the high scoring member from each chapter in the FFA information test in a spelling bee format. JP placed 3rd overall and received a medal and trophy! Ashton Oneal and Kolin Unruh also attended to present about the Ag Communications CDE. Congratulations to all that competed today!
