The 2009-10 school is one full of the usual challenges with some unusual ones we have never faced. We continue to prepare our students for the next step in their lives through the a curriculum designed to stimulate them coupled with a delivery method designed to cause them to think, something teenagers do not always wish to do!
Added to our challenges are reduced state funding which has caused a reduction in a few of our programs and efforts to cut expenses at FHS through more closely managed utilities. We believe more reductions are coming during this year and must be ready to deal with them. Should this happen, we will be forced to make decisions that will impact all of us in a negative fashion. We will continue to be dedicated to our students and their learning environment and will persevere with them through these hard economic times.
