FREE THROW CONTEST Congratulations to the Free Throw Finalist! 6th Grade: Isaac Dickinson and Dakota LaRocque 7th: Nicole Blackwill & Devin Voth 8th Marcus Alexander and Justin Solander Teachers: Mrs. Sommer and Mrs. Robert (At the high school Mrs. Fischer is in the finals with her opponent still to be determined.) We will shoot during HR next Friday.

 

FCCLA STAR Event practice tonight from 4:00 to 6:00. We have one week until STAR Events competition. FCCLA members, if you are planning to bring a grandparent to the grandparent luncheon you need to sign up in Mrs. Evans room today. The Grandparent Luncheon is February 14th.

 

KSE There will be a very short KSE meeting in the gym today during homeroom.

 

Yellowjacket Spirit Clinic When: Sunday, February 5th, 2012 Where: Fredonia High School Gym Who: Preschool (ages 3-4) and Grades K-6 Registration: 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Camp: 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Any 6th grader that is interested, please pick up a pink packet in the middle school office for more information and registration sheets.

 

FCCLA On February 14th, FCCLA is having a Grandparent Luncheon. If you are a member and would like to bring a grandparent or adopt a grandparent, please see Mrs. Evans by February 1st. We will need to know how many grandparents are coming. We hope you all will attend.

 

 

SHOES FOR KIDS The first shoe give away in Fredonia will be Sunday, February 5th from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 600 North 15th Street. Shoes are free to children 0-18 years but children must be present at the giveaway to try the shoes on! Before the giveaway, we are still collecting donations of new and gently used shoes. Drop off points include: *Fredonia Church of Christ *Valent Aerostructures *Wilson County Citizen, *Wilson County Health Department. We look forward to seeing you there!
